Intimate, connected and romantic is the way I would describe Sarah and Alvin’s wedding day. They were married at Spicers Peak Lodge in the company of their nearest and dearest. It was a beautifully intimate.
Sarah and Alvin wanted a no fuss, straight to the point ceremony. All the important bits were there of course and Jeff, their celebrant, managed to squeeze in a few lovely touches including a poem which was actually written by one of my closest friends for her wedding the year before. As soon as I heard the poem being read out I was instantly emotional and thought just how perfect it also summed up Sarah and Alvin.
The thing that has stuck in my mind about this wedding was the family connections. Both Alvin and Sarah are very close to their families so it made sense that their wedding would feature only them as guests. Their families are warm and welcoming which reflect through with Alvin and Sarah.
