As anticipated, I’ve been trying to capture him As anticipated, I’ve been trying to capture him as much as possible. Each afternoon we take a stroll in the garden and I’ve also been aiming to take some photos during this time. I’m not sure how long I’ll keep this up but it’s been daily for the best part of the last fortnight. So far, so good! Don’t they say something becomes a habit if you do it everyday for month? I’d love for this to be a daily practice.

Each roll there’s more and more “keepers”. I’m trying to capture photos with us in them each fortnight so I can see the growth with George. It’s hard to see just how much your little one changes when you see them all day everyday so for me it’s so important to have this time captured. Especially too because my memory just isn’t as sharp as it was prior to having a baby!

This piccie was taken a couple of weeks ago by David on my film camera. The film scans came back today (thanks @photopro_ ) and it was the most amazing surprise. Trying to capture all his moments but also be in them experiencing with him is paralysingly polarising for me. I guess this is a part of motherhood I didn’t expect. He’s growing before my eyes and I panic and feel like I haven’t captured enough! Knowing what to savour as a moment and knowing what to capture as a memory is something I’m learning. It’s quite the learning journey that’s for sure!
